    The basics of score reading will be covered by reading chorales, canons, and score study exercises at the keyboard. The French system of multiple clef reading and transpositions of all orchestral and band instruments is included.

    Continued improvement of score reading skills through a study of clef and transposition studies along with reading 18th- and 19th-century orchestral and wind symphony works. Individually and collectively, students will demonstrate ability to read scores.
